Centrifuged Latex

Processing of natural rubber latex into high quality latex concentrate of 60% dry rubber content is done through centrifugation. Centrifuging involves the separation of preserved field latex into two fractions, one containing the concentrated latex of more than 60% dry rubber and the other containing 4-6% dry rubber. Centrifuged latex is today available commercially in two different verities with high ammonia (min.0.6% of ammonia) and low ammonia (max. 0.3% of ammonia). The former is preserved solely with ammonia and later contains one or more preservatives besides ammonia. LA latex has several advantages which include better quality, lower cost of production by way of savings in preservatives, acid and low cost of effluent treatment.

Grades and applications

  • High Ammonia (HA) - Foam products, dipped goods, adhesives, elastic thread, household and industrial gloves, balloons, rubber bands and finger caps.
  • Low Ammonia (LATZ) - Preferred for all applications when de ammonia is necessary for product manufacture. Requirement for centrifuged natural rubber latex is given in the table.

ISNR Crumb Rubber

Ribbed Smoked Sheets (RSS)

Ribbed Smoked Sheets

At Zach Rubber Private Limited, we trade Ribbed Smoked Sheets (RSS) using carefully selected, coagulated, and smoked rubber sheets that meet stringent quality standards. Only well-dried, defect-free sheets are used—excluding blocks, cuttings, scraps, frothy, weak, burnt, or air-dried materials—to ensure superior product quality.

RSS is visually graded based on internationally recognized standards outlined in the Green Book of the International Rubber Quality and Packing Conferences. We offer all standard grades, including RSS 1X, RSS 1, RSS 2, RSS 3, RSS 4, and RSS 5.

The higher grades of Ribbed Smoked Sheets (RSS 1X to RSS 3) are primarily used in the manufacture of medical, pharmaceutical, and precision engineering products due to their superior purity and quality.

Lower grades, such as RSS 4 and RSS 5, are commonly utilized in the production of automobile tyres, retreading materials, and other general-purpose rubber products. Among these, RSS 3 and RSS 4 are the preferred raw materials for radial tyre manufacturing, offering an optimal balance of performance and cost-efficiency.

More than 70% of the world's natural rubber is processed in RSS form, highlighting its importance in the global rubber industry. Our higher-grade RSS sheets are processed from fresh field latex using modern techniques to ensure durability, consistency, and purity.

Each grade is clearly labelled and packed in 50 kg bales, ensuring easy handling and transport.

Double centrifuged Latex

Ribbed Smoked Sheets

At Zach Rubber Private Limited, we offer Double Centrifuged Latex (DC Latex), an ultra-refined latex concentrate produced by re-processing standard centrifuged latex after appropriate dilution. This second stage of centrifugation significantly lowers the levels of water-soluble proteins and non-rubber impurities, resulting in a purer, more consistent material.

Latex films made from DC Latex offer exceptional clarity, low water absorption, and superior dielectric strength, making it ideal for high-precision applications such as condoms, and other premium latex-based goods where purity and performance are critical.

DC Latex is known for its excellent stability and extended shelf life, making it a reliable choice for manufacturers demanding uncompromising quality.

Skim Crepe

Ribbed Smoked Sheets

At Zach Rubber Private Limited, we produce Skim Crepe Rubber as a by-product of our centrifuged latex processing operations[cite: 1]. The skim latex contains approximately 3–4% rubber content and a higher proportion of non-rubber constituents. To recover usable rubber from this fraction, we employ a controlled acid coagulation process, typically using sulphuric acid, followed by thorough washing and mechanical processing. The coagulated rubber is passed through a series of coarse and smooth rollers to form sheets, which are then dried and marketed as skim crepe. While not classified as a high-specification grade, skim crepe remains economically viable and is widely used in non-critical rubber applications due to its fast-curing nature and ability to produce hard vulcanisates. This characteristic allows manufacturers to reduce accelerator usage, offering additional cost advantages in certain rubber formulations. Standard packing is in 25 kg bales, either with one-side powder coating or wrapped in a polythene cover, depending on the customer's preference. Backed by our modern factory setup, we maintain a steady production capacity of 1,600 Kgs of skim crepe per day[cite: 1], ensuring consistent availability for bulk industrial use.
